Norte Vista CA standout Ernesto Ruiz won the 3-mile boys sophomore race in 15:25.5 at the Great Cow Run at Knabe Park in Cerritos, Calif. Ruiz produced the 11th-fastest time overall, including the No. 2 mark among all sophomores competing in the meet.
